Parents,
The construction has moved to Proctor Ave., which has resulted in harsh driving conditions. When coming to the front entrance of East Intermediate off Washington, the preferred route would be to go west on Cedar Ave. and north on Texas St. As a reminder, Proctor from Texas to Kansas is westbound only during school hours.
The construction is also to our north, which has impacted the intersection of Huber Ave. and Arizona St. If picking up on the north side (6th graders), you will need to avoid entering Bryan St. via Huber Ave.

🎨🚀 Get those art supplies ready! 🚀🎨
The Stafford Air & Space Museum can’t wait to see some out-of-this-world creativity!
This year’s art contest celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP). 🌍🤝🌎
In July 1975, American astronaut General Thomas P. Stafford and Soviet cosmonaut Alexei Leonov made history with the first international crewed space mission, symbolized by the famous handshake in space.
What a perfect theme for this year’s contest!
👉 Students interested in participating can stop by the office to pick up a flyer with all the details.

We are currently working on our MySchoolBucks app to reflect the correct balances on lunch accounts. Please disregard any text messages at this time and we will update as soon as the issue is corrected. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

EIS Families,
Please refer to this map for pick up and drop off during the closure of Kansas Street. We understand they are wrapping up this project soon. Until then, we are keeping our normal drop-off and pick-up locations the same, but adjusting the exit routes.
Note the following changes:
- You cannot go westbound on Huber to Kansas St. You must exit by going around the school and eastbound on Proctor.
- You cannot go westbound on Proctor to Kansas St. You also cannot go eastbound on Proctor, as this is a one day during school hours. You will need to exit by going south on Bryan.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate these roadblocks. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Meagan Merkey, EIS Principal, at 580-772-5888.
